As a private chef, I do things a little differently. I start by getting to know you, and I discover what you love to eat most. I design every menu to highlight the tastes you crave and the experience you cherish. I always include some favorites, and I add some original creations to thrill you.

What is a private chef, anyway?

Working with a private chef is a whole new experience. From event planning, to design and personal touches, with hand-holding the whole way through, I am not like your typical caterer. Because your celebration is special, and you need more than everyday catering. My staff and I take care of every detail, so you and your guests feel truly pampered. Each delicious meal is prepared for you by a trusted friend. And I always keep my friends happy!

Meet the Chef

Renée comes from a long line of chefs and home cooks, starting with her great-great grandfather Kashuba, who ran an inn-café in 1920s Pennsylvania. Embracing a creative spirit in 2015, Renée founded MadeByRK and began catering. Grounded in Mediterranean traditions and embracing the tastes of home cooking, Renée makes delicious celebrations the sole focus to design intimate and unique events. A strong relationship with clients and close collaboration for the entire journey from early planning through final clean-up is at the heart of each celebration.
